Terms and Conditions of Hire

EVENTFUL RENTALS

Bookings to decorate your event

Booking requests can be made online via our website under Add-on option

The booking amount is up to $500 for a max of 60 guests.

**1-10= $100.00   11-21=$200 22-32=$300 33-43=$400 44-60=$500**

Decoration includes set up and breakdown of guest tables, chairs, centerpieces, cutlery, head table, candy table, food table (table clothes only), etc.

Bookings are not confirmed until the 50% payment has been received.

Eventful Rental Hire set up and breakdown hours:

Mon-Fri: 9:00AM-4:00PM (SET-UP) …. No later than 11:00PM (BREAKDOWN)

Saturday and Sunday: 9AM to 5PM (SET-UP)...No later than 11:00PM (BREAKDOWN)

Public Holidays: CLOSED

If you require delivery, set-up, or pick-up outside of these hours or on a public holiday, there will be an additional fee.

Payments

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The booking is not considered as confirmed until the 50% deposit has been paid.

For bookings less than 7 days away, payment is required in full to secure the booking.

Final payment is due no later than 14 DAYS prior to the event date.

If you have not paid in full by the event date, the booking will not go ahead, and any monies paid will be forfeited.

Delivery and Collection

The delivery and pick up fee is charged at a flat rate of $50 per rental. However, there will be additional charges if there are any flights of stairs or if there is no legal car parking within proximity of the venue or drop off entrance.

Cancellation Policy

ALL cancellations will result in the forfeit of the 50% deposit.

If the cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to delivery date, we reserve the right to keep full payment.

Changing of hire dates

We will do our best to accommodate booking date changes, provided the items are available for rent on the new dates requested.

Product care

The renter is responsible for all items during the hire period and must take all care and due diligence to ensure the items remain safe and secure.

All rental items must be returned in the condition that they were delivered in.

Please ensure ALL items that are provided at the time of delivery are returned. This includes return of ALL components including screw, weight bags, protective blankets etc. as provided.

If anything is damaged while in your care, please let us know.

Protection from the weather

All items are to be protected from the weather when in storage and during use. Any water damage will incur charges for repairs or possibly replacement based on severity.

No equipment is permitted to be left outside overnight. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all rented equipment is always kept dry and secure. The rental items are the customer’s full responsibility during the rental period.

Customer Pick-ups

All items MUST be delivered and picked up by the professional staff of Eventful Rentals. There is no option for customers to pick up and drop off. Delivery fees will apply to all rentals.

Delivery and pick-up return times are agreed to at the time of booking and must be adhered to. If a customer is late for delivery or pick up by more than 10 minutes, we reserve the right to charge $10 per minute after the first 10 minutes until the items are available to be secured.

The rented items are the customer’s full responsibility during the rental period until secured by Eventful Rentals staff.

Acceptance of the quote, signed contract and payment of the 50% deposit is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Hire.
